Credit repair program can be defined as the overall process of identifying disputable items in the credit report of an individual, analyzing possibilities of challenging them with the credit reporting bureaus, lodging of formal complaint or dispute and eventually getting these items removed from the credit report.
At Big Credit Repair, this process usually starts with the individual customer contacting us, either personally or through the telephone. How do we then take it forward? Read on, to find out.
Our experienced credit specialist would first examine the customer’s credit report with an objective of identifying irregularities and/or items that can be contested. This is the most critical step of any effective credit repair program and by virtue of our experience and expertise in this particular domain; we are able to assess such items correctly.
We would then prepare complete documentation around contesting of the customer’s disputed data. In the United States, there are three different credit rating agencies. These are Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. Our company would issue formal letters of dispute to all these three bureaus (one at a time) and ask them to respond within four to six weeks. Usually, the letter of dispute would also contain an official demand for removal of such information from the credit report of the customer, in case of the credit rating bureaus’ failure to provide a satisfactory, legal and logical explanation to our dispute.
Usually in ninety per cent of the cases, these agencies reply back within our prescribed timelines. The success percentage of our credit repair program is somewhere between eighty five to ninety five per cent. This statistic proves beyond doubt that, in a vast majority of the cases, our research and initial groundwork about identifying the disputable items in the customer’s credit report is quite accurate.
What puts our credit repair programs way ahead of our competitors are two factors.
1. The speed at which we operate – Typically, our credit repair programs, unless they relate to extremely complicated, legal or bankruptcy cases would be resolved within a time span of eight weeks. This includes completion of all formalities (i.e. removal of disputed information from the credit report of our customer). As compared to this, the normal window for same activity is anything between three to six months.
2. The success percentage of our disputes – Normally, the disputes raised by us are all accepted by the credit rating agencies. This is easier said than done. It takes years of experience and exposure to gain such mastery over any particular domain. By virtue of our superior knowledge base, access to critical information and most importantly, our team of highly qualified credit experts, our credit repair programs have conversion rates, which are way ahead of competition.
